Speaking of cool tourist attractions in Garut, there is a new tourist attraction that is quite enchanting to tourists, the place is called Leuwi Jurig.

What is interesting in Jurig Garut Leuwi?

           Leuwi Jurig is a river that is flanked by large cliffs on each side, making the scenery in Leuwi Jurig quite unique because we feel like we are abroad.

Not just just the river flow, the water in Leuwi Jurig is quite clear, you know, sometimes it can even be blue like sea water especially if you visit in the dry season. The scene is at a glance similar to Shanghyang Heuleut in Bandung when it was first discovered.

          The river in Leuwi Jurig is approximately 500 meters long, besides being clear, the river in Leuwi Jurig is also fairly shallow, so it is safe for those of you who want to swim there. But still have to be careful because the stones are quite slippery.

          Leuwi Jurig became more popular after his cool photos were widely spread on social media, thus making the Garut Regency Government interested in inaugurating Leuwi Jurig to become one of the leading tourism in Garut.

          But, the location which is far from the city makes access to the location quite difficult. Even so, the beauty of Leuwi Jurig still makes many tourists curious, especially for photography lovers.

          Leuwi Jurig itself is a Sundanese word meaning "Pool of Satan". Even though the name is quite scary, but this is the opposite of the view it has, so do you dare to come here?

Route to Jurig Garut Leuwi

           Access to Leuwi Jurig is quite difficult, first you have to go to Bojong Village, Bungbulang District or towards Rumpit Sasak, the location of Leuwi Jurig is not far from Sasak Rumpit.

          Arriving there please ask the local people because there are no road instructions. After arriving at Bungbulang Subdistrict, you just go to Cirompang Bungbulang MHP, the location of Leuwi Jurig is not far from the first bridge.

Tips on Vacationing to Jurig Garut Leuwi:

The best time to visit Leuwi Jurig is in the morning and in the dry season.

It is highly recommended to use private vehicles, especially motorbikes.

Don't litter and always obey rules.

Use footwear that is suitable for outdoor activities.

Be careful when there, especially in the rainy season because the rocks are quite slippery.
