Actually Lhoknga Beach and Lampuk Beach were close together, so it was a little difficult to distinguish the two beaches. But, usually the people there called Lhoknga Beach for the area behind the Lhoknga Golf Course to the seaside park after the Semen Andalas Factory Complex. Well, if Lampuk Beach is a stretch of beach stretching from Babah Satu to Babah Empat.
Lhoknga Beach is better known as the Golf field, Surfing activities and fishing. Lhok Beach is really big and fierce, so it's very well known among international surfing communities.
There are several waves that can be climbed on this beach. The first is 'Left Hander Point', which is the left wave which is 300 meters from the shoreline which is very suitable for those who are new to surfing. The second 'Cemara Right Point', the right wave is about 300 meters from the beach. These two points become a favorite point for surfers from Japan's Sakura Country.
Furthermore, 'Peak Point' is the right and left waves 300 meters from the beach. Its strong current makes surfers have to be more careful here. Besides that, this beach is also the right spot for you who want to enjoy the sunset. The afternoon atmosphere in Lhoknga feels more quiet and peaceful.
